Colle delle Finestre is often used as the northern access road to Assietta Grenzkammstrasse. 39 serpentines partly on asphalt and partly on gravel roads lead to the pass summit at 2’176 m.

The Col de l’Iséran is the highest, passable and asphalted mountain pass in the Alps. It connects Val d’Isère and Bonneval-Sur-Arc in France.
